The Scarlet & Gray GalaMentor High School's athletic booster
groups are teaming up for a remarkable new fundraising event that will
raise money for the Mentor High School auxiliary gym project.
The Scarlet & Gray Gala will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 24 at LaMalfa Centre in Mentor.
In addition to a $4,000 grand prize raffle, the event will feature silent and Chinese auctions, dinner and live music.
Setting
the gala apart from typical fundraisers are its extraordinary prizes
including a Weber grill, lawnmower, Mentor letter jacket, senior
portrait package, three pay-to-participate fee waivers and more.
For
gadget fans, the gala includes an amazing "Tech-Key Package" featuring
a brand new Apple iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone, MacBook and digital camera.
Attendees may buy a key for a chance to unlock and win.
Tickets
for the gala are $125 per couple and $80 for an individual. They are
available now through the Mentor High School sports teams and by
e-mailing mentortickets@gmail.com.
