Mentor High School is a member the Lake Shore Compact; a career technical consortium serving students from the three school districts of Euclid, Mentor,  and Wickliffe.  Lake Shore Compact’s primary objective is to prepare students to enter a four or two year college, a two year technical school or the career of their choosing. Students in Lake Shore Compact programs are eligible to receive college credit upon successful completion of their program according to tech prep standards and may receive anywhere from three to twenty-four college credits.

The mission statement of college tech prep is: To inspire and empower all stakeholders to excellence through lifelong learning, application of professional ideals, and enriching the community in which they live.

The Lake Shore Compact does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability or age in its programs and activities and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups.
