Articulated College Credit
3 articulated credits are available to students who meet the eligibility requirements through Lakeland Community College.
 
Junior Year
Child development of typical 3-, 4-, and 5-year olds in a
laboratory experience, plus planning and execution of lessons
 
Senior Year
Child development of children with special needs
Career goals and employability skills
Placement in community elementary schools, day cares and preschool enterprises
 
Academic Day:
Junior year—Students attend Mentor High School for their English and CTE class and have the option to stay for the entire day.   
Senior year—Students have the option of attending Mentor High School for all of their academic classes or can attend for their CTE course only.

Program Fees:
$50 each year
 
Certificate of Completion:
Students who have satisfactorily completed the two-year training period and who have a minimum of 90% attendance will receive a Career-Technical Certificate of Completion.
