Summer Food Program - Map of Ohio Locations

Above is the link for the Summer Food Service Program clickable map. Ohio residents can use this map to find participating Summer Food Service Programs in their area. To access the map of 2014 Summer Food Service Programs in Ohio, either click on the link above or follow these directions: Go to At the top of the page, click on the tab titled TOPICS. Click on Other Resources, then to Food and Nutrition, and then to Summer Food Service Program. On the left, you will click on Clickable Map of Ohio Locations.

When you click on the link, a map of Ohio will appear. Ohio residents can use this map to find participating Summer Food Service Programs in their area. Just click on the appropriate county or enter a zip code and a list of names, addresses and contact information for current Summer Food Service Programs in the selected area will be generated. Although there is only one available locations in Lake county, Cuyahoga County has many. (If you would like information on locations in Cuyahoga County but do not have access to a computer, contact Samuel Gissentaner at (216)664-3987.)

All children ages 1 through 18 are eligible to receive free meals during the summer months at participating program sites. Individuals ages 19 through 21 who have been identified as having mental or physical disabilities and are following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) through their current enrollment in educational programs also are eligible for free summer meals.

· Mandatory Notification Requirement - All school food authorities (SFAs), regardless if they participate themselves in the summer feeding options or not, must cooperate with Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) service institutions that operate in their area to inform eligible families of the availability and location of free meals for students when the regular school year ends. Acceptable activities may include developing or disseminating printed or electronic materials to families of school children prior to the end of the school year, which provide information on the availability and location of SFSP meals. The Ohio Department of Education, Office for Child Nutrition (ODE, OCN) maintains a clickable map list of all sponsors approved for the SFSP. Click here to access the map. Note the map is updated continuously so check back often to access the most up to date list of sponsors in your area.
