September 19, 2013 – Congratulations
to Mentor High School senior Dylan Linville for earning a perfect composite score
on the ACT—36! This is an outstanding accomplishment.
ACT officials report that, on average,
less than one-tenth of one percent of students who take
the ACT achieve the top composite score of 36. Nationwide, more than 1.8 million
students in the graduating class of 2013 took the ACT.
The ACT tests students in English,
Mathematics, Reading and Science, and each section is scored on a scale of one through
36. The composite score is the average of the four section scores.
Dylan also recently found out he
has been named a National Merit Semifinalist. To read more about that accomplishment
