Mentor Public Schools has operated with an online checkbook since 2005. Our Board of Education and Chief Financial Officer have continuously pursued honest and open fiscal management of the school district. In addition to our checkbook, the district’s website includes current and historical financial information.
The Treasurer of State’s office just recently implemented a similar practice by launching an online checkbook last month. Now our residents have the opportunity to be informed on how both the school district and the state spend the public’s money.
