2019 8th Grade Washington, D.C. Trip

Dear Parents,

We are excited to share with you information about our 8th grade Washington, D.C. trip for spring 2019. At the bottom of this screen you will find the "Attachments Available to Download" section. Attached there, are the itineraries, permission forms and insurance information for both Memorial and Shore middle schools. You will see that Memorial is scheduled for April 29 - May 1, 2019, and Shore is set for May 6 - 8, 2019. Both trips are identical. 

Total Trip cost is $487 per student (trip insurance included for each student)

  • First Installment due December 7, 2018

    • $100

  • Final Installment due March 15, 2019

    • $387

Cancellation Policy - Any cancellation made at least 45 days prior to the departure date is subject to a full refund. Any cancellation that is made within 45 days of the departure date, the amount paid will be refunded, less any incurred expenses.

The Cancellation Policy verbiage will be added to the email that is sent after payments are made. We will also add it to the $387.00 balance that will be added to everyone who signs up and pays the initial $100 deposit.

Payments will be made through Infinite Campus.

Log into the Parent Portal, click on Payments in the left column.

Find your 8th grade student (at the bottom) and select 8th Grade Washington DC Trip $100.00 from the "Optional Items" drop down.

Enter $100.00 in the payment box or click on $100.00.

You may also choose to pay the $387.00 balance by selecting 8th Grade Washington DC Trip B $387.00 from the "Optional Items" drop down.

Click on Continue at the bottom.

Enter credit card information if it is not already there. If you need assistance please call 440-974-5238 or 440-974-5274. 


Please note: Cash or check payments can be taken at the schools.


Tour includes:

  • Deluxe motor coach transportation (56 passengers - Anderson)

  • Two nights lodging at the Marriott Hotel (see itinerary)

  • Private nighttime supervision at the hotel (one guard per floor)

  • Company tour manager on each coach from departure to return.

  • Meals (8): Two breakfasts at the hotel

                Two cash allowance meals  = 1 @ $9 & 1 @ $15 

                Boxed lunch

                Dinner voucher at the Reagan Food Court  

                Dinner voucher at the Pentagon City Food Court

                Dinner at Golden Corral
