7th Grade Cedar Point Trip
We are excited to share with you information about our 7th grade Cedar Point trip this spring.
  • Thursday, May 16
    • Arrive to school normal time.
    • Busses depart school at 9:00 AM.
    • Busses will arrive back at school at 8:00 PM.
    • Cost is $70 which includes...
      • Transportation Fee
      • Ticket into Park
      • Lunch
      • Students that own a season pass may use this.  The price will be reduced to $30 in this case.  Students are responsible to showing season pass to chaperone prior to departing school the morning of the trip.

       

  • Due date to sign up is Friday, March 22 at 3:45 PM.
    • The following items MUST be turned in/completed by the due date above to be considered eligable for the trip.
      • Permission Slip - LINK HERE
      • Annual Update Completed via Campus
      • Payment - This can be done by cash/check to main office or via fees in Infinite Campus.
        • In the event not all 3 items are turned in, the student will not be eligable for the trip.  In this case funds will be refunded if paid.
    • THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS FOR LATE SUBMISSION OF ITEMS.

     

  • Behavior Expectations
    • Any student that has received any combination of the following will have to appeal to attend the trip.
      • 2+ ASR's
      • 1+ Saturday School
      • 1+ day of Out of School Suspension
      • Habitiually Truant Status in regards to attendance to school. 
    • Mr Dwyer will meet with students that have signed up for the trip and meet this criteria on Monday, March 25.
    • The appeal process will be explained to them at this time which includes the writing of a letter and meeting with a panel of teachers to formally appeal going on the trip.  Parents are NOT permitted to attend these hearings.
    • In the event an appeal is unsuccessful, funds paid will be refunded.
    • In the event an incident occurrs after the appeal process, administration owns the right to remove any student from the trip for grounds they find just.  In this case, all funds paid can NOT be guaranteed to be refunded.
