Rice Elementary teacher earns Lubrizol Science Teacher of the Year award!
December 12, 2013 – Congratulations to Rice Elementary School’s Mrs. Stephanie Nowak, who has been recognized with Lubrizol’s Science Teacher of the Year award. With this award, Mrs. Nowak will receive $5,000 to be spent in her classroom.
Lubrizol has been honoring Lake County Science teachers with this award and a runner-up award for nearly 19 years.
“To sustain and grow American manufacturing jobs in today’s global economy, innovation is essential. We are proud and grateful to honor these educators in our own backyard who excel at preparing their students for tomorrow’s workplace,” said David Enzerra, Lubrizol senior director of community and public affairs.
