Mentor Schools CLOSED Tuesday, January 27th Due to Weather

Good afternoon! Please read this entire message as it differs from previous closure announcements. Assignments will now be given to students.

Mentor Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, due to the extremely cold wind chill values in the forecast for early morning hours when our students would be at bus stops or walking to school. The National Weather Service issued an Extreme Cold Warning that includes Mentor and is in effect from 7:00 p.m. this evening through 11:00 a.m. Tuesday. The warning states wind chills as low as 20-27 below zero are expected.

Because tomorrow will be our sixth calamity day of the school year, students will be given assignments to continue their learning at home. Teachers will make these assignments available to students by 10:00 a.m. either via their classroom management system (Seesaw, Schoology), email or Loop messaging. The assignments will not be due until students return to school.
