October 14, 2026: The Mentor Public Schools Board of Education is seeking applicants for a
vacancy on its board due to the resignation of Board Member Mrs. Rose Ioppolo. Board of
Education members are elected to terms for four years, and the remainder of this term ends December 31, 2027. The new board member would begin service upon appointment.
Interested applicants should submit the following:
- A letter explaining their interest in serving on the Board of Education, including relevant qualifications and experiences
- A current résumé
- A list of three references
Applications must be submitted by October 28, 2026. Board members must reside in the Mentor Public Schools District.
The Board of Education will review applications and interview selected candidates. An appointment is anticipated by mid-November.
