Installing Certificates for Securly

For an iPhone\iPad

 

Download the Following Certificates using Safari:

Certificate 1

 

1. Download the certificate, click on the downloaded file, and press the Install button
2. You will be prompted with a warning message that says, "Installing this profile will change settings on your iPad."  Press the Install Now button.
3. You can exit this screen by pressing the Done button in the top right-hand wa0corner.
4. Next, you need to turn on SSL trust for that certificate, go to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings.
5. Click on the toggle next to *.securly.com
6. Click Continue

 

For an Android

Download the Following Certificates:

Certificate 1

**Your Android device will need to have a PIN set otherwise by default you can not install any certificates to the device.**

 

1. Download the certificate, click on the downloaded file.
2. At the Name the certificate screen give the certificate name and press the OK button.

 

Connecting to District WiFi 

 

For an iPhone\iPad

 

Select Cardinal Net from the list of available Networks

Enter your district username (Ex. Woodworth)

Enter your district password

Click Connect

On the certificate screen you will see guest.mentorschools.org hit Trust in the top right corner

 

For an Android

 

Select Cardinal Net from the list of available Networks

EAP Method= PEAP 

If prompted(not all androids will show this) Phase 2 Authentication = MSCHAPV2

CA Certificate = Do not validate

Enter your district username (Ex. Woodworth) for Identity

Enter your district password for password
