About Us

At Mentor Transportation, we are honored to provide service to our community, prioritizing the safety of our students above all else. Our drivers are fully trained and certified in compliance with state requirements and have passed all state and federal background checks. For the past ten years, our department has proudly been recognized as the most efficient fleet in Ohio with 50 or more buses.

We offer daily transportation to 11 Mentor Public Schools, 12 special needs schools/routes, 6 technical and training schools, and 5 non-public schools. Serving approximately 6,600 students, 75% of whom receive transportation to and from district schools, we also transport approximately 350 students to/from parochial schools. Our fleet travels just under 900,000 miles annually, covering regular routes within and just outside the 28 square miles of Mentor, as well as field trips, and extracurricular activities.
